The Great Gatsby Film Trailer Storyboard Due (Enriched only)!
Discuss the play Carried Away on the Crest of a Wave (viewed yesterday at the Tarragon Theatre).
Macbeth Journal Entry #3 - Record your initial observations about the characters of Lady Macbeth (with specific reference to her lines at the beginning of Act 1 Scene 5) and Macbeth (with specific reference to his lines at the beginning of Act 1 Scene 7).
Act Out Act 2 Scenes 1-3 and discuss. Record any questions you may have in your journal.
Course Culminating Assignment Essay Due
Macbeth Journal #4 Write about the death of an important public person (ex. Jack Layton, Michael Jackson, John Lennon, etc.). How did the public react? What is the legacy of this person? How did you react to this death? What impact did it have on your life?
Act out Act 2 Scene 4 and Act 3 Scenes 1 and 2. Record any questions you may have in your journal.
Enriched - we are going to the computer lab to edit on Wednesday. Please see me if you require class time ahead of this to film, and if you need use of the school cameras.
Macbeth Journal #5 - Write about the feeling of guilt, and about a time when you have felt guilty and/or paranoid about doing something. Describe this feeling, and how you overcame this feeling. How do you think the characters in Macbeth are going to cope with their guilt/paranoia?
Finish reading Act 3 and begin reading Act 4 of Macbeth.
Hand back Mad City Assignment and Gatsby tests and storyboards.

Macbeth Journal #6 - Write about the fear of being replaced. How would you feel, and what would you do, if someone took away a position that was important to you? (Ex. losing a position on a sports team, being demoted at work, etc.).
